Venerable Professor K.L. Dhammajoti retired from the Centre of Buddhist Studies at the end of 2014. In order to continue pursuing his scholarly research and teaching, he founded The Buddha-Dharma Centre of Hong Kong in Wanchai. As part of its vision to integrate Buddhist studies with praxis, the Centre offers a full range of postgraduate programmes, including MA and PHD in Buddhist Studies. These programmes are affiliated with the University of Kelaniya, internationally renowned for Buddhist studies. Additionally, he teaches special courses for language studies in Pali, Sanskrit and Classical Chinese.
